Prime Minister Narendra Modi and France President Francois Hollande have launched Grammy award winner Ricky Kej's new music album 'Shanti Samsara' at International Solar Alliance (ISA) launch event held in Paris.

Speaking about his epic music project, Ricky said his album was conceptualized through the inspiring words of Modi during his meeting with him in September.

Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister, he thanked him for helping him to channelize his creativity and art towards making a difference and for giving him a perspective on what the world needs, 'Environmental Consciousness'

"It feels like I have been a musician just so that I could see this day..to see my music hopefully make a small difference in this world", said the Grammy winner.

Featuring over 300 musicians across the globe, the album includes seven Grammy Award Winners who joined hands to create environmental consciousness.

The album, which also celebrates nature through different cultures around the world, features Sanskrit verses, spoken words by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Hollywood actress Frances Fisher and BAFTA award Winner Rosanna Arquette.

The music album is made in association with Vivekananda International Foundation and has 14 songs and four music videos.

The album also features renowned Asian musicians from China, Vietnam, Japan, Korea and the feted voices of Indian composers Shankar Mahadevan and Hariharan.
