South Africa paceman Morne Morkel has said that the squad is determined to make life as easy as possible for newly appointed Test captain Hashim Amla as they prepare for next month's tour of Sri Lanka.
Morkel said that it is a bit of a new-look team, a fresh team, but one that has played well.
According to Sport24, Morkel said that with Amla leading South Africa's Test squad, they are a team that wants to back him and play well for him to make his job a bit easier.
The paceman added that their support to Amla means that they would need to find their feet as quickly as possible as it is going to be hot and humid and they need to adapt.
South Africa will play three ODIs, starting from July 3, before a two-match Test series.
