Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho does not think his side is good enough to win the Premier League, according to reports.
According to the Mirror, Mourinho feels he inherited a Chelsea squad in decline and one that had slipped too far behind to become champions in his first season back.
He claims they would be top if they had a prolific striker, but his front three of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o have managed just four league goals between them, the report said.
Mourinho, who sent Romelu Lukaku out on loan to Everton where he has been a big hit, was frustrated by the lack of goals from his strikers and does not expect to be given the money to buy a new forward in January, the report added.
The manager also said it is hard for him to make an impact this season because he cannot improve old players.
