A three-year-old child fell into a 100-foot-deep borewell on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district and rescue operations are underway to fish the child out.

The child fell into the deep borewell when he was playing in the fields.

Machines have been working to dig a parallel tunnel in order to save the child and an oxygen tube has been passed down to help him breathe.

A medical team has also reached the spot and the child's actions are being monitored through a camera pushed down the borewell.
