President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur) tomorrow, where he will present the Standard to 112 Helicopter Unit (HU) and Colours to No. 4 Base Repair Depot (BRD) of Indian Air Force.
112 HU was raised on 01 August 1963 at Jorhat. It is one of the first helicopter units of the IAF in the Eastern region of India.
4 BRD undertakes repair and overhaul of turbo-jet aero engines and their aggregates.
