Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday asked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to step up and start working and added that sycophants were ruling the roost in the Uttar Pradesh government.
"Sycophants are ruling the roost in the Uttar Pradesh government. Officers are delaying clearances. Sycophants always cheat you; they are not good for a chief minister's image" said Yadav, at a function.
"The Chief Minister must tell the people about the achievements and schemes floated by the government which he is not doing," he said.
Singh also suggested party member Azam Khan to buckle up.
