Defending champion Andy Murray advanced to the second week of Wimbledon as he defeated Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut on Centre Court without dropping a set in the third round at the tournament.

Murray raced to a 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 win in one hour and 36 minutes over the Spaniard, advancing to round four on a 16-match winning streak at Wimbledon.

According to the BBC, Murray will now face 20th seed Kevin Anderson in the last 16 on Monday after the South African advanced by defeating Fabio Fognini.

Murray, who dominated with 11 aces and 44 winners, said that there were a lot of close games and it is good to get it done in straight sets after he defeated Bautista Agut.

Murray said that Bautista Agut is the best opponent he has played so far, and as a step up he felt that he responded well.

The Scot also said that there are a few things that he could improve on but added that it was a good first week.
