Britain number one Andy Murray has admitted that he doesn't know the date of his own forthcoming wedding, as he insists that tennis players are not normally very good with dates.

Murray is going to tie the knot with his girlfriend of nine-and-a-half years, Kim Sears, in April and all he knows about the wedding date is that it is three weeks from now on Saturday.

Murray, who is looking to add to his two Grand Slam titles after coming back to number four in the world rankings this year, claimed that tennis players aren't normally very good with dates, the BBC reported.

The Scot said that they just know that it is the Indian Wells week or the Monte Carlo week or whatever, so he added that he knows his wedding is on the weekend before Monte Carlo and the weekend after Miami.

Murray said that they would probably do the honeymoon later in the year, probably in the off-season, adding that he is not sure where they are going to go yet, but insisted that there are a few ideas.

He claimed that he is actually not nervous about getting married because he and Sears have been together like nine-and-a-half years and they have lived together for six or seven years as well.

So, Murray said that he doesn't believe a whole lot's going to change, adding that he kind of feels like they have been married already in terms of the way they spend their lives together and live together.

Murray admitted that he would be more nervous about starting a family because that would be more life-changing, in a good way.
