New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): After doing successive serious films, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda recently appeared in an out and out romantic film 'Do Lafzo Ki Kahani'.
The actor has been critically acclaimed for the portrayal of different 'serious' characters in the past few years.
Having gained immense popularity courtesy serious films, it is quite natural for actors to try cliched Bollywood love stories.
In an exclusive conversation with ANI, Randeep said even his other on-screen roles had something romantic about them.
"I was waiting for a romantic script as this is a zone that I have not much experimented with. But I also feel that all my roles so far have been romantic too. If you look at 'Sarbjit', he was writing love letters to his wife from jail, which shows the romantic side of that character but the movie wasn't about that," said the 39-year-old actor.
He further spoke about his favorite character of all the films he has done so far.
"My favorite movie would be 'Jannat 2', I played the character of a drunk ACP, who loses his wife and every evening would go to a public booth and dial to his home in order to listen to his wife's voice on his landline," he said.
The 'Sarbjit' actor said 'Do Lafzo Ki Kahani' was the first ever film wherein the character and the plot, both were romantic, adding that his character had much more to it than just that.
The Deepak Tijori directorial performed average at the box-office but Randeep's character left its impact on the viewers.
