Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann, who stoked a controversy after uploading a video showing security spots of Parliament, on Friday strongly defended his actions and said his intention was not to malign the image of Parliament or put the security at risk.

"I did not play with the security. I never wanted to put the security at risk. I think that I have not done anything that harms the security. DD, Lok Sabha everything comes live. My intention was not to malign the image of Parliament or put security of risk. Everyone should get a chance to speak. Speaker has called me and I will go there," Mann told ANI here.

"When we put questions in zero hour. Lucky draw takes place and in that the names that come up are allowed to speak. I am going to parliament in zero Hour today. I want to raise the issue of farmer's suicide," he added.

Hitting out at Mann, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said this shows how much knowledge Mann has of the Constitution

Meanwhile, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is set to move privilege motion in the Lok Sabha against Bhagwant Mann for uploading a video on social media that showed the Parliament premises and internal security positions.

However, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has taken cognizance of the video and said that it is being investigated.

The speaker will seek a report from Parliament security on the matter and Mann will be summoned if required.
