MyParichay, a leading Facebook based recruitment platform, on Wednesday announced the findings from its recently concluded pan-India survey.
The survey underscores social recruiting has moved from a trend, to a necessity, where 9 in 10 recruiters believe that a social media based hiring tool will give them a competitive advantage in gender diversity hiring.
85 per cent of Indian companies surveyed mentioned that diversity is crucial to fostering innovation in the workplace. 3 in 4 recruiters struggle to find qualified women candidates to support gender diversity goals.
Presently, HR recruiters are faced with the challenge of meeting the diversity goals set by their leadership and attribute those to lack of specialized hiring tools. The objective of this survey was to gauge the need for tools that may support achieving gender diversity goals.
