Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has landed in Lahore to mark his presence in the ongoing Faiz International Festival.
In a recent interview, the 66-year-old actor, accompanied by a seven-member delegation, including his wife Ratna Pathak, said he has arrived to rekindle the cordial relations between India and Pakistan, adding that he has also visited to pay tribute to revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, The Express tribune reports.
The 'Dedh Ishqiya' actor said such opportunities were great for the artistic exchange.
During the festival, Shah will perform on four shows of his play.
Others including Indian film producer and poet Muzaffar Ali will also participate, while renowned Indian singer Sonam Kalra and Pakistani singer Tina Sani have also been roped in for a musical performance at the festival.
