Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting here today of a high level committee for central assistance to states affected by natural and national disasters.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh and senior officers of the agriculture, finance and home ministries participated in the discussions.
The committee examined the proposals and decided on the assistance to provided to Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana from the NDRF.
