Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today said that the government is ready to address oppositions' concerns.
Denying that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's (PTI) 'million march' posed a threat to his government, Sharif had earlier reiterated his commitment to resolving issues with the PTI chief through talks.
According to the Dawn, Sharif said on Sunday that political problems were always resolved through dialogue and understanding and added that the grievances of the opposition will be addressed through talks either after the Azadi March or before it.
The protest march called by PTI chief Imran Khan is scheduled to be held in the capital city of Islamabad on August 14.
The Prime Minister also said that there are institutions and judiciary which have been working independently to address the grievances of the opposition and they must be trusted.
At a time when the Pakistani army is going through a tough phase with operation Zarb-i-Azb going on in North Waziristan Agency to eliminate terrorism from the country, the opposition should play a constructive role in the interest of the country.
The statement came on the same day when the PTI chief pledged to end the Sharif family monarchy in Pakistan through his Azadi March.
