Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today paid a visit to Jama Masjid in New Delhi after witnessing Narendra Modi's anointment as India's 15th Prime Minister yesterday. Sharif offered prayers at the Jama masjid and met the Shahi imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari, ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to meet Nawaz Sharif and other SAARC leaders today after formally assuming charge of his office. The meeting has generated a huge interest as this is the first time that a Pakistani head of state has witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of an Indian Prime Minister.
