An airline carrier which no-one has heard of has been reportedly voted as the world's best by a UK consumer site Which?
The Aurigny Air Services flies passengers between the Channel Islands, the UK and France, and has bagged the title in the short-haul category.
According to news.com.au, Aurigny achieved 87 percent satisfaction score compared to mere 32 percent for Ryanair, which was rated worst in the category.
The Guernsey-based carrier won the top position, after a survey of 12,000 passengers, despite passengers not being offered any food on board and there is no cabin crew because its planes are so small.
Aurigny spokesman Mel Rees said that the result was great news, particularly as most people have not heard of the carrier.
