Google has reportedly launched a mobile client application, which allows users to access their Mac's or PC's from their Android devices, whether they are smartphones or tablets.
The application Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android is reportedly an extension
of the search giant's previously launched Chrome Remote Desktop screen-sharing service, which allows a user to share their desktop's screen with other Chrome browser or Chromebook users.
According to TechCrunch, to use the android application a user has to first install a helper application, which is available on the Chrome Web store and works on Windows XP and above, Mac and Linux computers, on their desktop or laptop computer.
The app will reportedly allow a user to connect to any of their computers with just a tap, and allow them to manage or navigate through their files and folders from far.
An iOS version for the app is reportedly said to be under work even though its development is said to be far behind.
The official Chrome Remote Desktop Android app, which focuses more on consumer, is available on Google Play, the report added.
