The National Green Tribunal on Friday gave authorities in the national capital two more weeks to implement its ban on ten-year old diesel-run vehicles. The NGT has put its order on hold till May 18.

The Supreme Court had earlier in the month dismissed a plea against the NGT's order banning old vehicles from plying in the national capital.

The apex court reportedly observed that the tribunal should be assisted and not discouraged on the matter.

The NGT had last year banned diesel vehicles that were more than ten years old and petrol vehicles that 15 years old from plying in Delhi.
