Nick Cassavetes to be in 'Honeymoon With Harry'

Based on a Bart Baker's novel, American filmmaker and actor Nick Cassavetes has come on board for the drama-comedy "Honeymoon with Harry".

The Variety magazine reports that the project is being produced by Mike Karz of Karz Entertainment and Josie Rosen of Gulfstream Pictures and the executive producer of the show would be Russell Hollander of Hollander Entertainment.

The novel focuses on a hard-living man, who falls in love with a woman who saves him from himself - despite the best efforts of her protective father to crush the relationship, she dies tragically just before the wedding.

Dan Fogelman is the screenwriter of 'Honeymoon with Harry'.

Robert de Niro, Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams have been attached to star in "Honeymoon with Harry" and Cooper expressed interest in directing the project.

The movies, which Cassavetes has done include 'John Q', 'The Notebook', 'Alpha Dog', 'My Sister's Keeper' and 'The Other Woman'.
