Nicki Minaj has slammed her former boyfriend Safaree Samuels on Twitter reminding him that he should stop taking advantage of her as God is in control of everything.

The American rapper accused her music producer former lover for blackmailing and said that she encouraged him to start his own career as a musician, Us Magazine reported.

The 'Anaconda' hitmaker started the twitter war and quoted the lyrics of her song album 'Pills n Potions'.

Samuels defended himself and tweeted that speaking to someone about splits was not blackmailing, and it wasn't about fame it was about respect that Minaj didn't had for him.

The American music producer further added that public would sympathize with Minaj more because she is a celebrity.

Notably, the singer's last album 'The Pinkprint' was inspired by her recent breakup from longtime boyfriend Samuels.
