Nicolas Cage has revealed that he feels like an "outsider" and he cared about what people think about him.
In an recent interview with The Times Magazine, the Academy Award winner asserted that he was proud of the risks he had taken even if they had not all worked, but he had a concept and he had pushed for it, Us Magazine reported.
The 50-year-old actor said that his work gave him comfort whether people loved his movies or not.
Cage added that when one was "endowed" with an original way of thinking, or with a highly active imagination, one could can become quickly ostracized.
