Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday said the NITI Aayog's sub group will submit the draft report by August 5.

"We were asked to send our final comments on the draft report that we have made in consensus with everyone. By August 5, the report would be ready with us. The work of the funding pattern of the Central Government in its various departments, which the whole country has been anxiously waiting, will be completed by us," Chouhan told a press conference.

The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister earlier today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital in this regard.

Today's meeting assumes significance as the BJP-led NDA Government is making all attempts to ensure that the deadlock in the Parliament over the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh and the controversy surrounding former IPL boss Lalit Modi comes to an end.

The opposition parties have been demanding the removal of the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister over the Vyapam scam. The government has, however, so far backed Chouhan and ruled out his resignation.

The CBI registered the 18th FIR in Vyapam scam yesterday. It has been registered in connection with alleged illegalities in the Police Constable Recruitment Examination conducted by Vyapam in 2013.
