Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi told media persons that any step taken by them would be in the interest of the people of Delhi.

"Based on the meeting that we have attended, I can tell you that the issue is open, the final decision in this regard will be taken by the government on December 25. I do not want to speculate on it before December 25," Bassi said.

"We will wait for the government to come out with the policy on December 25. After that we will make our action plan, if we need any clarification we will think about it then. Let them come up with policy then we will come out with action plan. Whatever we do, we will keep the interest of the people in mind," he added.
