A video news report by the secretive country's state-controlled media told its North Korea football fans that its national team will play Portugal in World Cup final.
The report stated that the team had done so in style by beating Japan 7-0, USA 4-0 and China 2-0, Metro.co.uk reported.
The video showed highlights from old matches and even showed leader Kim Jong-un appearing on a screen in one of Brazil's fan zones, much to the delight of a cheering crowd.
One said that it looked like somebody had edited together random bits of news archive.
