A new running robot has been crafted whose speed is faster than the fastest running man on the planet, Usain Bolt.
The robot can reach up to 45mph on the treadmill and 25mph in road tests breaking the record of the Jamaican sprinter, who has the average speed of 23.7mph, Metro.co.uk reported.
The development team of the robotic OutRunner, Robotics Unlimited, has launched a kickstarter crusade that will facilitate them to create it on a much larger scale and further build up the remote controlled machines.
They are also planning to start a first ever robotic running race in the next six months, where people can participate by bringing their own customized robots.
