A nurse, who tried to help resuscitate John F. Kennedy's after he was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, has claimed that the President was also shot with another different 'mystery' bullet.

Phyllis Hall, who was 28 at the time, told the Mirror that while the medical team was trying to save Kennedy, she was holding his head when she made a startling discovery.

The mum-of-three said that she could see a bullet lodged between his ear and his shoulder, and it was pointed at its tip and showed no signs of damage.

Hall, now 78, asserted that there was no blunting of the bullet or scarring around the shell from where it had been fired.

Hall said that she had a great deal of experience working with gunshot wounds, but she had never seen anything like it before.

She said that the bullet was about one-and-a-half inches long and looked nothing like the bullets that were later produced.

Hall insisted that the bullet was taken away, and never presented in evidence, adding that it remains a mystery.
