A pub in Wellington has put on offer syringes loaded with stag semen, kiwifruit liqueur and yoghurt, as part of their entry into a wild food challenge.
Sarah Wood, function manager at the Green Man in the CBD, said that once a person gets past the fact that there is stag semen in it, it is actually quite a nice concoction, News.com.au reported.
She said that a couple of their patrons have already tried the concoction, but more people were expected to try the drink on Friday, which is traditionally their busiest night.
She said that till now, the overall feedback is that the drink is really not that bad.
The stag semen has around 4000 sperm per serving and is kept in liquid nitrogen at -196C, and made into "stag's roar" drink each morning.
The pub has designed the drink to be swallowed alongside a dish of venison.
