North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has apparently made another friend from the west, former American hip-hop group Fugees star Pras Michel, who is travelling to the nation to watch a wrestling match hosted by a Japanese politician and former pro wrestler.
Yet Michel, who is a friend of President Barack Obama, insisted that the visit to the isolated country is only to explore. He said that he honestly does not know if Obama knows that he is going to North Korea.
The American rapper said that Obama is probably going to know and at some point the State department is going to know, but added that this is not a political trip, this is just a human being going there to explore something, The Daily Star reported.
Michel's visit comes six months after NBA hall of famer Dennis Rodman shared drinks and cigars with crazy leader Jong-un at a basketball match. Rodman and Jong-un are said to have met before and are thought to be good friends.
But Michel has distanced himself from any political connections. He said that he is not sure what Rodman's motives were, but added that he's an athlete and basketball player. And Michel said that he is an entertainer, adding that there are two different agendas and he is purely going to North Korea to explore.
