Odisha to extend Rs. 5 meal scheme to 58 centres in state

The Odisha Government will extend its popular Rs. 5 meal scheme across 58 centers in 50 towns of the state by February 2016.

The decision was taken by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at a review meeting held yesterday at the State Secretariat.

At present, the five rupee meal scheme benefits more than 22,000 people in five cities - Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Berhampur and Rourkela.
