Olivia Wilde has revealed that she had begged first time director Reed Morano for lead role in upcoming flick 'Meadowland.'
The 31-year-old actress, who'll be playing the role of Sarah, a mother, who along with her husband spiral downward after losing their son, said that that she knew that was a demand for the role, and had requested Morano to prove herself to her by performing some scenes at her apartment, Deadline.com reported.
She had agreed and had given some "great notes during that one hour," she added.
Morano, who as an extensive resume as a DP, said that she wanted someone who was new to such role before, and had held the film when Wilde was expecting her first child, after which Wilde had boarded as a producer.
