Madonna has sparked outrage after comparing herself to Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and others in order to promote her new album 'Rebel Heart'.
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker posted a series of images of several great leaders, and photoshopped black rope onto their faces similar to her 'Rebel Heart' album cover on Twitter, People Magazine reported.
The 56-year-old captioned the pic of Bob Marley with black rope around his face, "This #rebelheart sang about ONE LOVE!"
On Luther King's pic, the American singer wrote, "This #rebelheart had a dream!"
The Queen of Pop captioned the Instagram pic of Mandela as, "This #rebelheart fought for freedom!".
Six songs from Madonna's album were leaked online before their official release.
