Australian media thrashed N. Srinivasan for being appointed as the ICC's chairman, despite being suspended by India's Supreme Court as country's top cricket official due to corruption allegations in the Indian Premier League.

The very presence of the 69-year-old Indian Industrialist at the Melbourne conference was a fresh attack on cricket's credibility, reports Sport24.

New Zealand Cricket director, Martin Snedden, said that if any problem rises during the investigation then the International Cricket Council (ICC) has to deal with it.

Snedden added that the sport's 'Big Three'- Australia, India and England, are using their collective advantage but also providing a lot more certainty to international cricket.
