Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has made an encouraging start to life in England with his new club but a sub-par performance in his last game against Manchester United has led to some stick from a Twitter user.
According to the Mirror, Ozil has become the brunt of an inventive gag following his side's 1-0 loss at Manchester United on Sunday.
One pioneering fan mocked up an image in which the German's Twitter location has been changed from London to Phil Jones' Pocket, according to the report.
The 42 million-pound German international joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in August and this was his first league defeat in English football, the report said.
The 25-year-old schemer has been in dazzling form since arriving in north London but he resembled the invisible man in an anonymous display at Old Trafford, the report added.
