Pak heatwave claims 26 lives in Sindh

The death toll from the devastating heatwave that struck Pakistan's Sindh province continued to rise, with at least 26 more casualties reported.

According to the Dawn, officials have said that 20 deaths were recorded in Karachi, while three deaths were reported from the Dadu and Naushahro Feroze districts.

The recent figures have pushed the total death toll to 1,332, with 1,234 deaths in Karachi itself and 98 in other districts of Sindh, since June 20.
