The Pakistan High Commission has issued visas to almost 2,000 Sikh devotees for Baisakhi.
The official twitter page of the High Commission confirmed the news.
"Pakistan High Commission has issued 1962 Sikh yatrees visa on the occassion of Baisakhi.Festvial will held in Pakistan from 11 to 20 April," it posted.
The harvest festival Baisakhi, which will be celebrated this year on April 14, is observed as the Punjabi new year.
