The government will hold a session of the parliament in the first fortnight of February to pass the Vote on Account.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath told reporters here on Wednesday that the session will be for 15 days or ten sittings.
He, however, said the government is yet to take a decision on the business agenda for the session.
Nath revealed that the government also plans to pass some crucial anti-corruption legislations which are a part of the Congress and the UPA government's agenda to address the issue of corruption.
He said these bills will come up for discussion and possible passage in the session.
He, however, rejected the view that the UPA-II Government wants to pass these bills in a bid to acquire some political mileage before and during the 2014 general elections.
The Whistleblowers Protection Bill, Judicial Accountability Bill, Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, Citizens Charter Bill, Timely Delivery of Services Bill and Public Procurement Bill are pending in Parliament.
The session will be a continuation of the Winter session as both Houses were adjourned sine die.
