Former South African cricketer Paul Adams believes that there is a great pool of spinners in the country which is coming through the ranks and would definitely get an opportunity to showcase their talent in the upcoming tour of Bangladesh and India.
Adams, who was speaking at the annual spin bowling camp at the Centre of Excellence in Pretoria, said that he was thrilled with the talent that has emerged in recent years, Sport24 reported.
He opined that it was generally the pace at which they bowl and the lengths which were different to their conditions, noting that in South Africa, if a bowler bowls quick, it was easy to hit the ball as it just slides on but in the sub-continent they could bowl quickly and get some purchase.
