Paul McCartney reveals his 'Pirates of the Caribbean' character

Ahoy Mate! Legendary singer Paul McCartney has finally revealed his character in the upcoming 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie and he looks completely un-recognisable.

The 74-year-old-singer took to Twitter and shared a photo of himself dressed as a pirate for the movie.

He captioned the picture, "#PiratesLife."

In the snap, the 'Beatles' singer is seen in full pirate costume, holding playing cards and sporting a long beard with dreadlocks.

The fifth installment, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' will see the return of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush as Barbosa, with Javier Bardem acting as the film's villain, Captain Salazar.

McCartney is the second English rocker to appear in the 'Pirates' movies.

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards played the swashbuckling dad of Depp's Jack Sparrow in 'At World's End' and 'On Stranger Tides'.

The film is scheduled to release on May 26 in the US.
