Brazilian football legend Pele has welcomed the re-election of Sepp Blatter as FIFA president despite a corruption scandal embroiling world football's governing body.
The Mirror quoted Pele, as saying that he was in favour of Blatter's re-election, and insisting that they needed an expert guy.
The football legend said that Blatter was a man who has been at the helm of FIFA activities for more than 25 years, and that's why he should be respected.
He also said that everyone needed some changes in life, but that he favoured Blatter who still has opportunity to deliver a nice administration.
Blatter secured a fifth term in charge of FIFA during its recent annual congress held in Zurich last Friday after defeating his lone rival Jordan's Prince Ali bin al-Hussein.
