Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has reportedly insisted that he would not swap his striker Sergio Aguero for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Pellegrini's statement, which comes ahead of City's clash against Liverpool on Sunday, has reportedly ruled out City's bid for the Uruguayan striker, who is rated at a potential 100 million-pounds by boss Brendan Rodgers.
According to the Mirror, earlier Pellegrini had claimed that after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, Aguero is the third best player in the world and he has now admitted that he continues to feel the same.
Pellegrini said that both Aguero and Suarez are top players, adding that although the Liverpool striker has played the whole season scoring a lot of goals and Aguero has had a difficult season with injuries, he insisted that he would not swap his striker for Suarez.
Pellegrini said that he thinks a lot of Suarez, adding that he is not only a striker, but a great player as well, who scores goals, but also plays a lot for the team.
However, Pellegrini insisted that if one tells him to change Suarez for Aguero, his answer would be no, and that he continues with Aguero.
City's Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday is crucial as it could tilt the balance for the title and Pellegrini has to decide whether he should recall Aguero, who is injured, for the clash or not, the report added.
