Bobby Deol, who is making his comeback on the big screen with 'Poster Boys', recently revealed that it was because people became choosy about him that he didn't do any film in the last four years.
While talking exclusively to ANI, the 'Soldier' actor said, "People ask me why I was so choosy and why I didn't do any film in the last four years. I tell them that I wasn't choosy but people had become choosy about me."
"But after this film, I feel they won't be that choosy. I am very confident about this film. I am sure audience will love the film," he added.
Sharing his excitement to be back on the silver screen, the 'Barsaat' actor said, "I am very excited as I am a part of the film which I was really looking for. To play a character which was never offered to me made even more amazing for me to comeback after four years."
"I am very excited to get to play the role of a small town school teacher, who speaks fluent Hindi. I and Shreyas did lot of workshops together and it was amazing to work with him as he is an actor before director. It's a great combination."
He added, "I did 'Dillagi' with my brother Sunny as a director first time and I feel that was my best performance. I think now after a long time people will enjoy my work again in 'Poster Boys'."
The actor hopes to win back his audience and his fading stardom with 'Poster Boys' that marks the directorial debut of Shreyas Talpade.
Deol brothers Sunny and Bobby are coming back together on the silver screen after delivering hits like 'Dillagi', 'Apne' and 'Yamla Pagla Deewana.'
Inspired by a real life incident about three porters who found their pictures on a vasectomy poster, the film will hit theatres tomorrow.
