England cricket player Kevin Pietersen's brother-in-law has been held for possessing a sawn-off shotgun and sexually assaulting a woman with a rolling pin, with two other charges or rape, blackmail and making threats to kill being left on his file.
According to The Sun, Samuel Taylor, brother of the England batsman's wife and Liberty X singer Jessica pleaded guilty, telling police he was not the owner of the gun but had agreed to ditch it for cash.
Taylor buried the gun and ammunition in woods before being arrested after a tip-off that he was making threats to kill, the report said.
The report added that in 2006, Taylor was jailed for two years and nine months for dealing cocaine after a raid on his home in Preston, and will be sentenced in September again.
