Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the nation on the holy occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Hanuman.
The festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the Shukla Paksha, during the month of Chaitra.
Prime Minister Modi also paid tribute to Mahatma Phule on his Jayanti for his selfless efforts towards social reform.
"I bow to Mahatma Phule on his Jayanti. His selfless efforts towards social reform, women empowerment & education had transformative impacts," he tweeted.
