Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday interacted with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of leading Spanish companies while on his visit to Spain to attract investment into the country.
"PM @narendramodi interacts w CEOs of leading Spanish companies w global footprint," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Gopal Baglay tweeted.
"Spanish newspaper Expansion frontpages PM@ narendramodi's call for Spanish investment in India in public works, energy, tourism and defence," Baglay said in a tweet.
India and Spain earlier signed seven agreements across multiple sectors following delegation-level talks, co-chaired by Prime Minister Modi and his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy in Madrid.
Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day state visit to Spain, arrived in Madrid on Tuesday.
