Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S President Barack Obama will pen a joint editorial to be published in a leading U.S journal tomorrow.
"This was the first time that an Indian and U.S head of state had collaborated on a joint editorial," said Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin.
"Since fortunately both believed in 'digital diplomacy', they had communicated via digital means to write it," Akbaruddin added.
Before leaving for his maiden trip to the U.S, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also written an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, inviting entrepreneurs to join his 'Make in India' mission.
