Pakistan's former foreign minister Khursheed Mahmud Kasuri has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' dream will not succeed as long as there is political instability in India.

Addressing the media here this week, he said that both nations have reached war and near-war situations on several occasions, but the only option left is to continue the peace process and resolve the Kashmir issue in an honourable way.

The Dawn reported that Kasuri was recently in India to launch his book, 'Neither a Hawk nor a Dove', in four different cities.

He said political instability, domestic peace and economic progress were ground realities linked to both India and Pakistan.

The Dawn quoted him, as saying "The agencies in Pakistan and India will continue attacking fault lines of their rivals, and both countries will eventually be destined to live in poverty, coupled with insufficient health and education facilities for their peoples."

He also said that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that dialogue between India and Pakistan is essential to ensure that neither country suffers in the short and long term.
