Prince Harry has become the first ever UK royal to reach the South Pole with the completion of his 'Walking With The Wounded' 200-mile charity trek, it has been revealed.
According to the organisers of the trek, the 29-year-old royal hiked alongside injured military veterans from Britain, America, Canada and Australia to reach their destination at 1200 GMT (11pm AEST) on Friday, News.com.au reported.
It is also worth noting that during the trek the teams had to bear temperatures as low as minus 35 degrees Celsius and wind speeds of around 80km/h while dragging 70kg sleds.
