Pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine have finally handed over the Malaysian airlines MH17 black boxes to Malaysian experts.
According to source, a senior separatists' leader handed it over to Malaysian officials at a meeting in the city of Donetsk in Eastern Ukraine.
The meeting was held after United Nations' appeal for an immediate access to the crash site, reports the BBC.
Experts said that block boxes would give away important information including the exact time, altitude and position of the plane when it had crashed.
European leaders are likely to discuss the issue further and take measures against Russia.
It would also provide the cockpit voice recorder that would help them decipher the exact cause of the crash.
