Singer Lana Del Rey has confirmed that she is being sued by Radiohead over a song from her latest album, which, as per the English rock band, has uncanny similarities to their breakthrough song 'Creep'.

The 32-year-old American singer, who insisted she had not been inspired by 'Creep', took to Twitter to say, "It is true about the lawsuit".

"Although I know my song wasn't inspired by 'Creep', Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing - I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court", she wrote.

The dispute centres on 'Get Free', the closing track on her last album 'Lust for Life', which opens with seemingly identical guitar chords to the 1993 hit track.

Ironically, the English band was itself sued over the resemblances between its song 'Creep' and another English band The Hollies' song 'The Air That I Breathe'. After losing the legal battle, the band had to give credits to the writers of 1974 hit song - Mike Hazelwood and Albert Hammond - on their debut album Pablo Honey. Subsequently, the royalties had to be shared too.
