Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Thursday teased Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for his actions and called him a "hero of comedy circus".

Vijayvargiya told ANI that important thing is to find the reason as to why ex-serviceman Ram Krishan Grewal committed suicide as he was also taking the benefits of OROP.

"The govt has spend crore's of rupees on OROP and the record for the same has been given by the Defense Minister. We have to find the reason behind the death of Ram Krishan Grewal as he was taking the benefits of OROP, and if he received Rs 4,000 to 5000 less then that does not means that he will commit suicide," said Vijayvargiya.

"People have problems with the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and have been trying their best to put a scratch on his reputation," he added.

Earlier during the day, Union Minister Babul Supriyo posed a question on Congress vice-president that how much does he know about One Rank, One Pension.

Criticizing Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for seeking political mileage from the suicide of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal, Supriyo said, "We are seeing the outcome of all tactics and actions which Rahul Gandhi ji and Kejriwal ji are doing for political gains. If somebody is leading the movement for a Congress free nation then it is the good work of the BJP."

"You should ask Rahul Gandhi, what all he knows about OROP. Like our government said Rahul Gandhi does not know what exactly is OROP. He should realize that this country is moving away from such kind of petty politics. This shameful acts of coming before the camera just for the sake of votes is condemnable. He should know voters will not be influenced by such moves," he added.

The body of Grewal has been taken to his hometown in Haryana after a post-mortem was conducted at the Lady Hardinge Hospital on Wednesday.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has reached Bhiwani to meet the grieving family.

Rahul had met with the family earlier yesterday and had accused the Delhi Police of illegally detaining and abusing them.

Yesterday, Gandhi was first detained at the RML Hospital when he tried to meet the family members of Grewal and was taken to Mandir Marg Police Station. He was detained for around 70 minutes before being released.

Grewal consumed poison on Tuesday, but the cause behind his suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Grewal's cremation will take place in Bhiwani today.
